Tasteful Cakes is well known in Corona for its cookies. Every day we are sure to have shortbread cookies dipped in a simple icing that kids and adults alike absolutely adore! We also almost all the time have Mexican Wedding Cookies, which are a pecan shortbread coated in a mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon. In the Fall we come out with our famous Pumpkin Spice Cookies, a favorite of not only our customers but all the employees as well! It’s a fabulous blend of pumpkin flavor, sweetness and spice. It pretty much melts in your mouth and leaves you practically addicted! Of course, in winter time, we have our well known cookie trays. We put aside whole days in the bakery assigned to baking cookies alone. We bake all sorts of cookies for the trays, trying to touch on holiday favorites, cookies children will love and new and fun additions as well. We make gingerbread, naturally, and make both small and large gingerbread people. We also provide gingerbread houses and kits which our customers can take home and create themselves. We make French macaroons, Spritzer cookies, peanut butter balls, snowballs, in addition to many others. We try to change it up every year, but usually keep a solid number of crowd favorites. We also make seven layer bars during this season, which are a compressed combination of chocolate, nuts, coconut, and butterscotch. During Valentine’s Day we have our small heart cookies with the heart message candy sayings written on them with edible ink, and occasionally we have our extra large cookies that have personalized messages and intricate designs all around them. Whatever time of the year it is—it’s always a perfect time for cookies, and we have just the cookies to satisfy your craving.
